General Godzilla Discussion

I have no idea.
I've seen tier 1 and 0 characters use placeholder images for the characters so I used one for "It" back in the day. The image is a photo of the Christmas tree nebula. I thought it fit because it was red, cosmic, is a tree (it is constantly compared to a tree branching out), and you can just make out a Godzilla silhouette from it.

I would've maybe removed it someday but it seems to have gained some popularity as a depiction of IT so deleting it now would be weird.

The original "Red Tree" pic we used at first as a profile pic for IT was better than that "Red Nebula"... It looked more epic and Lovecraftian, tbh…

It is a tree, IIRC, and that red nebula doesn't look like a tree… :V
IT is not a literal tree, it's an abstract thing with no clear description since it's literally beyond dimensionality. It is tree-like in the sense that it branches off a lot and has a main "trunk" with SHIVA being the physical manifestation of a second "trunk" that is technically still "it".

I see.

Do we have profiles on godzilla's vs marvel comic run? If not I think we should talk about them. Is anyone well acquainted with magic the gathering? I wonder how strong godzilla is in their lore

Thanks for responding but what about power cosmic and the silver of the necro sword?
That one is an elseworlds story. However, it does reference 616 canon, as in the actual comic book run Punisher: King of Killers.

Power Cosmic Godzilla is more likely to scale to 616, because it references specific issues to read from 616 Fantastic Four.

God Butcher Goji is elseworld like Hunterzillas said, but since he tore through the world tree he'd still be 1-A. Sadly, it isn't in enough issues to have its own key on a Marvel page. At best we could maybe try to make him a key on GMK's profile

Probably the best case scenario since it is literally GMK Godzilla and for all we know this is the straight up canon ending for GMK's entire existence since he didn't technically die in his own movie.

Doesn't that make power cosmic godzilla outerversal?

That would be nice abd what makes the world tree 1-A? Sorry

Yeah that's pretty much confirmed

I know of profiles that cover 2 canon stories of the same character in different keys, such as some versions of Superman...

My only concern is that he appears in a Marvel comic and gets his scaling from Marvel cosmology, so Marvel supporters might not want him

Ok so spoilers for Godzilla Destroys the Marvel universe issue 2:

Godzilla one shots Fing Fang Foom, no sells Dr Strange, Dr strange says he’s beyond the best science and magic of the universe, Strange sends him to the astral plane and strange says if they don’t do something he will tear their reality apart.

Strange also outright states he's even more powerful than the last time Godzilla fought everyone.
