Oh, damn! Congrats!

First an Oscar and now an Eisner. That's pretty impressive considering how Godzilla was for very long dismissed as those silly monster movies with bad effects.
 
Was Suko surviving a crystal explotion in GxK calculated? I think this might be pretty decent durability feat for him.

Also, i don't think Suko should scale to Kong, at all.

Says he's designed by a guy who worked on Godzilla vs Biollante and SSSS Gridmann monsters.

Godzilla here is 100m tall and 55000 tons in weight.

The volga one says its 100m tall, 50000t in weight and 150m in wingspan.

If that's the case that's just hypocrisy,bias and a genetic fallacy. I also see twitter links all the time that people post on this site. Are you being passive aggressive? No, I am not being passive-aggressive. And no, leading WoG statements are not allowed for any verse. Quite recently the Ninjago verse had people get banned for using them (and making them).

He's not being passive-aggressive. And yeah answers to twitter questions are almost never allowed and places where they are are generally outdated verses. I would like to see the statement though

I don't see him saying anything passive aggressive. Plus that is a passive aggressive response to something that is otherwise did nothing wrong.

The rule isn't as much about WoG as it is about specific types of WoG where a person asks an author a question that contains or leads to a specific answer. If I ask a guy "is X omniscient?" then that's a leading question since you already have the answer in the reply and the author, who might just not care to reply to weird ass questions too hard, will say - sure. This is especially evident with Godzilla in Hell authors who basically said yes to any question they got asked and recently the "godzilla expert" on Twitter who people have been asking about the book instead of, you know, actually reading them themselves.
Just to give a counter example to a leading question, if instead of "is X omniscient?" you were to ask "How smart is X?" or "What is the limit to X's intelligence" - that'd be a proper question. Whether it is usable is up to staff and up to debate of whether something contradicts it, but it'd be good.

That's the guy, the "godzilla expert". I've seen some of the things he said about the novel and found contradictions that can be disproven very easily, not to mention the immense amount of people asking him leading questions cause they wanna wank Ultima.

Anyway, I wasn't here to criticize you about "you using WoG" but to advise you not to do that in this Wiki/Forum, just that. As usual, the staff members don't like users making CRTs with that kind of stuff…

That guy is only a "Godzilla expert", not the author of Godzilla Singular Point, though.
 
And just to nip this in the bud, from our perspective he is just a guy who read the book. He is an expert in godzilla lore in general, doesn't mean he is an ultima expert.
To give examples of things he got wrong
He was asked if Ultima is Omnipotent to which he said that he sees everything except his own future, just like other monsters.
This isn't true, he very much could see the future from the opening lines of the novel and could easily see where the mandas and the submarine were going, thus outmaneuvering their evasive maneuvers. He only stopped seeing his future when face to face with Jun and JJ cause, since Pero 2 messed with the singularity and the timeline, they had overlapping futures which caused "fraying" which made the future of specific parts of the universe blurry for Godzilla. See the difference? Technically he didn't like but he also didn't say the truth.

If I remember correctly in the older days he said "it" controls all monsters. His words made it seem like it was a separate being. In the actual novel, "It" is Godzilla, it is controlling the body and is the mind of Godzilla, their names being used interchangeably. Another partial truth - he was right about it controlling other monsters but he didn't treat the creature as godzilla.

Due to this and the leading questions it is best to approach the guy with skeptitism.

Thank you for the indepth and respectful answer! I mean from what I've gathered here pretty much any question relating to powerscaling is invaild because of that,even one's without leading questions. I personally disagree with your and others take on the gih questions because they've refused to answer questions and even clap back at the fans for asking them. Ulises is adamant about what he writes and answers with (he deleted his twitter account though) I've personally asked multiple authors powerscaling questions and one was nice and the other was rude. also isn't the translations for the godzilla ultima novelization on this site?

Hey, does the plane that fights alongside Kiryu scale to him or Godzilla in anyway whatsoever? I know it has weapons on it and stuff that's meant for fighting Kaiju.

People already talked about kotm so I'll give my opinion about Goji-Chronic: He's not the best scaler. Most of his scaling is either stolen without credit or very wrong. I remember he once used this calc and didn't even acknowledge how wrong it was to use a 7.5x multiplier

I think his content can be fun at times but yeah. He can also be quite biased sometimes, biggest evidence being his Shrek vs HTTYD video imo.
 
Imo, given the nature of VS debating and all, the best you can do is take everyone's takes as a different point of view and see what you can gather from them. I mean, given this is not like a hard science but a consensus is the next best thing, you can at least take info you may agree or legitimately didn't know.

I talked with Goji-Chronic years ago, and he is a good person. But I haven't seen his powerscaling takes in a long time, so I can't give an opinion in this regard.

About Gkotm, others already talked about him in this thread, so I don't have anything to add to that.

Interesting,goji-chronic is definitely the nicer person but his powerscaling takes have been abysmal imo
