The Double Sunday is not real. In the manga, Raditz only ever uses generic, basic-level Ki Blasts. Even Daizenshuu 7 classifies the Double Sunday as a basic-level Ki Blast technique; he instantly unleashes two basic Ki Blasts simultaneously—evidently, without even concentrating his strength or charging up the attack much, considering he is, as you have brought up, surprised when Goku and Piccolo do the same.

We have evidence for the Kamehameha (and the SBC) having that sort of upscaling, we do not have any for Frieza's supernova. In the DBS movie, it takes about 5-ish seconds for him to fully charge the supernova, no strain or visible effort while in his little chair which we already know from Namek saga means that he's suppressing even his first form's 530,000 power level.

You don't get it. When Freeza was sitting in his chair and using one finger to nuke the planet he was actually focusing his power into a massive multiplier. DB characters are actually glass cannons who would get one shot by their own attacks.

I find it interesting how, on the wiki, Dragon Ball requires super specific confirmations to gain certain abilities on the wiki.
However, other verses, even with much more interpretive evidence, are easily accepted. Just something I've been thinking about.

Long answer. Dragon ball is an extremely popular series within and outside of the wiki. Oppositions will obviously flood crt and staffs seem to really only care about crt regarding popular verses (both good and bad). Theres an ongoing “staff only” thread about which series is popular/controversial enough to require 3 votes for a crt and which isn’t that popular and only requires 2 staff votes.
DB (composite) went through a lot to get tier 2 and 1. All HS DxD needed to get 2A was statements of “breasts leads to infinite possibilities”. Of course 2A HS DxD was called out and revised (not by a staff). It showed how little staff actually cares about crt of non trending verses within the wiki. I enjoy my chinamen stories but how easily they get L1C (and above) baffles me. I’m not saying they aren’t Tier 1, just that there isn’t much opposition against them due to their lack of popularity within the wiki (W for me I guess).

I think they’re a touhou but regardless of whatever franchise they reside from bickering in this discussion thread to purposely provoke DB supporters will only do more harm than good for them. Uncalled for comments like that never end well.

I think that’s a fair take. I’d just add that a lot of the intense reactions just stem from a perceived misrepresentation of something that is meaningful to someone, like it's a personal slight. More often than not, it’s not just, “I disagree with your take,” but, “you’re distorting the legacy of something I care about.” The more beloved something is, the more fiercely people will fight to protect it from being misunderstood. And I think that really goes both ways and can devolve into infighting over "my interpretation is the absolute one". That's just the way of things I guess.

Madoka Magica is massively downplayed right now. To the point where the verse is accepted as Low 1-C, but Madoka (by some mystical, never-explained twist of fate) somehow remains stuck at 2-A.
