DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

It's a shame because I'd argue without TDK, Maker has honestly the bigger chance of winning. But bring TDK into discussion and Maker is honestly cooked. Worst that he doesn't have access to crazier gadgets like the ultimate nullifier like main Reed does.
the idea of using TDK turns me off ngl. I get that it's the climax of his character but it requires so much pre-planning to where it would be impossible to replicate in a random 1v1 unless we're explicitly allowing for prep. and if we do, he just becomes the generic powerful reality warper while his opponent is just there

This entire comic, from issue 1 to this one, has been nothing but smiles and pure joy for me like I'm a kid again. While there are some pretty goofy things that I find silly (Metal Sonic jobbing to Batman being one of them, ugh.....), Sonic x DC has genuinely be one of the best quality crossovers I've seen in recent memory.

Like you can tell that Ian Flynn has been having a blast writing these characters together, and I love all the nods and references to Sonic and DC past without the story being overly pretentious or unnecessarily serious.

how can you be the concept of concepts?
I'm pretty sure it's because In-Betweener is the abstract embodiment of duality and anything surrounding dualities (you know things like life vs death, good vs evil, light vs darkness, etc). I don't know how that makes sense either, but it's what Marvel says so take it for what it is.

I dunno how anyone expected the robot bum that got no diffed by a door to beat Batman in a crossover, should've had someone more up to the challange like Orbot to fight Batman

Spider-Man villain confirmed stronger than Thor & Hulk.. Miles got this /j

Spiderman fans are kinda pmo. Trynna get him to mftl+ and country level 😭
Not Spiderman but I remembered when reading Superman and whenever a feat I knew beforehand seemed too high end and it gave me this gut feeling that it was wrong, and every single time it seemed like the cosmos aligned and bent to my gut feeling and some scan or WoG statement in the letters would confirm that yeah, it's invalid.

I wonder why it seems these maximalist interpretors don't ever get a gut feeling that a feat or scaling chain they vomit out is just not right.

MFTL+ is some bs but surprisingly there are actually some country level Spider-Man feats. you can definitely argue they don't scale to them consistently though and DB sure as hell won't use them
