Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

not to just instantly make this about powerscaling i say as I do, I'm interested if Persona and Sonic having more evidence for shared canon (if CrossWorlds is canon) could be interesting.

Minecraft stuff looks really cool too! I'm glad to see a stage.

I mean, they're both Sega properties and Sega themselves aren't going to give a damn about what we powerscalers believe.

We're going to treat the game as canon unless they specify otherwise. We just disregard the crossover characters and their implications on scaling, as obviously it's illegitimate for actual scaling.

Ooooooh the price tag for crossworlds is coming out...

It's a Sega game so I'm sure it'll drop to half price in like 3 months but christ between this and Mario Kart what is up with these prices for kart racing games man, I think having Minecraft Steve in the game making them a bit too overconfident.

Base game is 70, digital deluxe (which comes with I believe 6-12 characters, the prime characters, and some music stuff) is 90

What Sega thinks will happen if they drop the price of a game that's obviously going to get a ton of sales by just 20 or 30 dollars

The prices have been the same 70 bones or so for a while, so I don't care as much. It sucks, but that's just how it's going to be for a long time.

SEGA, PUT GOKU IN THIS GAME AND MY SOUL IS YOURS
Please, Goku level Takumi Fujiwara so I can make Initial D as strong as possible.

Been meaning to ask, why is Time Eater's feat accepted as Infinite speed (Used to be MFTL+ in the quadrillions) rather than Immeasurable? Isn't it accepted that he busted the timeline or something?

Time Eater didn't affect the Hypertimeline in any way, it just has the range to reach/enter it. It busted everything below it and did History EE, which isn't exactly quantifiable through Speed.

So there isn't any Immeasurable speed feat at play in that scene.

I'm not talking about the Hypertimeline, i'm talking about the regular timeline. Classic Sonic has this attached to his profile
Sonic reacts to the shockwave created by the Time Eater as it's still going. Given it pans to his face and then everything turns white, it leads me to believe the Time Eater's shockwave is what wiped out the universe, which would be a reaction speed feat given the size of Sonic's universe is infinite.

Except Classic Sonic isn't "reacting" in a combat-applicable sense, he caught the tail end of the blast so he's staring at his universe being destroyed and watching helplessly.

IMO no because he looks more dumbfounded at what's going on and does no real significant action while it's happening, like at best he turns around atthe noise. Just feels like trying to scale Classic to something he isn't meant to.

I think classic scales to time eater’s attack speed anyway cuz of the endgame.

But no one is ready for that conversation.

I agree with you if it helps.

Edit: more so on the latter part, I agree with classic scaling but not base forms scaling to Super stuff. Should've clarified, my bad.

Imagine that there's a story mode for Crossworlds, Joker is in it, and Sonic directly references that time he ended up in SMT Liberation Dx2 as a partial answer to explain the crossover, making the connection between worlds "consistent" and "canon."
