Hmm... just gonna ask quickly cause why the heck not ask:
Would preferring UK English to US English be an "unpopular opinion"? (Probably depends on the demographics and opinions of others in this community either way, I also would be curious as to what peeps (both staff and regular peeps) think of different languages, scripts and dialects, especially since most if not all of history is recorded and studied in writing or other forms of tangible remains of cultures and civilisations such as art and tools hence why it'd be an interesting discussion.)

I'm sure the articles you sent are a good read, but unfortunately they were written by TVTropes users, who speak the forsakened american language, instead of the God-given one, so I can't understand any of the words.
 
I am pretty tall irl 6ft5 (198cm for people who use cringe units) which is nice and all but its impossible to find shoes to wear cause I am size 15/16. Clothes are also annoying. Dont fit in airplanes, gotta duck doors in older buildings or going down stairs.
