The old version even messes up a number placement and should have been higher.

I think if they were to hypothetically use it, it would be like... fourteen zeroes higher than Simon's, maybe higher since that version is an extreme lowball that assumes Amithaba is the same size as his universe and The Heavens.
 
What were they talking about when they mentioned that Simon from the show communicated with Simon the story writer and unlocked some powers. I don't remember that in the anime at all. Could you please elaborate?

also another win condition that they gave to Simon was the regeneration (sometimes people forget everything is not just POWER POWER POWER)they argued that Kyle will be unable to erase him in any capacity, because even beings like Anti-spiral, who controled the laws of its own universe and has the power to erase core concepts of reality, was unable to destroy Nia immediately, and Nia was able to regenerate herself back from being destroyed to the informational level for a week.
and for them, information is basically at the same level of conceptual things (or something like that).

Jin should be along side Wolverine, Galaxia and Captain Marvel, as he has regen of that level
 
I've been thinking about it, and it's settled, this DB convinced me to finally watch Gurren Lagann.

Like, I knew of it before now; I knew vaguely who Simon was and all that. But ever since the episode came out, I can't stop listening to the OP, it's the coolest shit ever. So hype.

Simon seems like the type of guy who's gonna be in my Top 5 favorite characters of all time alongside Dante and Kiryu.

In my case, I took it upon myself to watch the entire series between waiting for the previous death battle and this one...
Unfortunately, I had to watch the last 12-11 episodes on my cell phone between 00 and 05 in the morning, so it was hard for me to finally watch the episodes without constantly rewinding because my mind would get tired and I would ignore what was happening for a while.

The labyrinth scene is unironically the utter peak of shonen. Gurren Lagann is unique. I am fine with the controversial ending so for me the anime + movies are perfect.
 
My review: I liked it, although it's not as special to me as it is to others... Sometimes they went overboard with the fanservice (Yoko's outfit in the final battle is pure fanservice... And it looked terrible on her) sometimes they rushed the pace too much (like in the onsen chapter) and I couldn't care less about the boss monsters (that is, the pre-timeskip villains with the exception of the Spiral King) or most of the secondary characters (characters like the children, Rossiu, or three of the black siblings only mattered to me from the final arc, while others simply never mattered to me, and I hate the guy obsessed with shooting at the slightest opportunity)... Overall it's very good, but I can't put it above my favorite series
(although, it's better than Jujutsu Kaisen, to which I did the same thing of rushing I read it between a death battle fight and the one where the character was going to be shown[the Suki a vs Shigaraki one] )

Also, Simon vs Kyle has convinced me to actually watch Gurren Lagaan for the first time ever and I'm currently on episode two.

So far I've got four things to say: the animation is absolutely superb, the OP is very catchy, all the characters thus far are very likeable and memorable, and, above all else, Kamina is so freaking charismatic and cool. I'm really liking this show so far, and I bet it gets better as the show progresses.
