Waking up from near death coma

Which abilities/resistances it could give to a character, who almost died while being in coma, but woke up like it's nothing just because he sensed something that he likes (in my case it's cognac)?

Seems legit, but I also think supernatural willpower and resistances to sleep and pain manipulation could be added (since in that case character basically defied death with sheer will to drink cognac, also he lost a lot of blood and was able to function normally shortly after)
