Yeah Void transitioning to good isn't narratively wrong to me (we need to know what the pre-god village was like though) but it was handled in the cheapest way possible to progress the story. I just hope we'll take more time with future arcs and avoid multiple redraws like this
I feel like I'd like it a lot more if he started delivering a whole speech about the beauty of life and then Saitama was like "yeah, yeah, 20 words or less, buddy"

It is supposed to represent god level so most likely. If the gap between Phoenix and the rest of heavenly beasts (who are already above dragons) is similar to the gap between dragon and god levels, we might get some crazy stuff.

Besides, 4 heavenly beasts are the representatives of 4 cardinal directions and there is a central dragon that eclipses all the others in some interpretations.
I have a feeling the 4 heavenly beast will come back, possibly stronger.

I also feel like Cruel Dragon might be the Central Dragon and he actually was a god level threat ready to one-shot the planet lol... given that Saitama did apparently keep his post-Jupiter amp he wouldn't have even noticed a planet-buster

Saitama did not kill the dragon, that is the kirin
I'm not speaking about the Kirin Saitama killed at some unknown point, I'm speaking about Cruel Dragon. The guy Saitama killed in his own one off chapter with the saints, also happens to have a temple down in Atlantis. Feels like he should be super important to the lore and would fit the role

Oh right, forgot about him

It shouldn't be the cruel dragon because God's pets are named after their mythological beasts so the dragon is called Seiryu

The arc is over, here's the possible content for crt
Empty Void will be scaled to Blast at the very least
Sonic are now totally scaled to Flashy flash AP wise, arguable in speed
Tenninto scaled above Gale wind and Hellfire flame in human form

Saitama gains some sort of power nullification. He might actually retained his strength from the parallel timeline because of that implication.

So… the theory of Saitama having some short of "God's power nullification" was right all along. Interesting

Btw, the end of the chapter was really funny. I can't say it was worth the time wasted by redraws, but it was good nonetheless

man we have no reason for so many redraws

there is also the dragon in addition to the phoenix because the Kirin is a fifth Japanese mythological beast that however is not considered on a par with the other 4, namely the tiger etc.
These Holy Beasts are based on Chinese mythology not Japanese mythology. Kirin and Yellow Dragon are the two Holy Beasts that are treated as the center and head of the other Four Holy Beasts (North, East, South, West) depending on the source.

except that from the fact that I highly doubt that they didn't also put the Seiryu and they put the Kirin killed instantly I don't think so but the Kirin is a mythological beast in general of Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture not only Chinese and then it is associated with the west point of the tiger i.e. Byakko not of the Seiryu

I have no clue what you are even saying ngl. Like what do you even mean they didn’t put the Seiryu and Byakko not of the Seiryu. They’re two different Holy Beasts and directions.

青龙 Azure Dragon (Seiryu) - East
朱雀 Vermillion Bird (Suzaku) - South
白虎 White Tiger (Byakko) - West
玄武 Black Turtle (Genbu) - North
黄龙 Yellow Dragon (Koryu)/麒麟 Kirin (Kirin) - Center

For the sweet Mask arc, I hope ONE actually shows him slowly becoming a monster, since in the webcomic we were just told he was losing his humanity but never actually saw him do anything monstrous.

For example when sweet mask about to decapitate the mind controlled hostage if not for Iaian and co.

i mean this is foreshadowed when he killed aliens, even when he didn't need to kill them

"Look man, my friend void helped me through a very tough time,so he means a lot to me, you just gotta respect it, okay?"

Bruh why does this chapter kinda feel fanmade 😭. "For the final battle against God, we need your help Saitama!" i swear this is something cminglap would write.

And SlendVeny before you chime in with your meaningless opinion on why you disagree with me, I literally could not give less of a shit about anything you have to say so please sit down

I just wanted lore D:
Seriously, if they just took some of the good parts of the previous redraw (like maybe Void's backstory and the expanded backstory Flashy Flash and Sonic had) and mix it with this redraw, it would be so much better. Alas, I guess the third try wasn't completely the charm.

(I unironically wouldn't mind a few redraws of the last few chapters, or this chapter, at the very least, to try and fix them up).

let’s not forget. Void managed to easily one-shot an above dragon on the same level as the one Saitama one-shotted.

Void ain’t no Saitama or Blast. but he definitely has insane feats in this recent retcon.

The question is, "How the hell do we scale these Above Dragons?"

Probably above psy-orochi.

Blasts reaction to them is probably justifyable. Also, he was literally keeping them from entering the universe.

They are potentially the strongest above dragons.

But if no one wants to agree to that, just lowball them to the lowest above dragon we have, who ever that is.
