I'd been avoiding this place because redraw hell had me bummed out after we lost the dimension slash timeline

Glad we seem 🤞to be back on track... but what the hell is the plan for scaling Void, the Ninja Village Party and the Heavenly Beasts lol?

Void's only feats now are casually surpassing Flashy and killing the featless divine beasts... something he possibly did in a stronger key that we got five six panels of

I haven't had to seriously think about tiering for this verse since Cosmic Garou three years ago

seriosly

Well then guess it’s time for me to go back to following the series biweekly again. The repeated redraw of the arc really killed off my interest in reading it the day it came out.
Yeah, I've been dreading the releases recently because all of the negativity. There have been haters for years but with the second redraw wave, I was dreading to read a simplified version of the same arc a third time

What are your thoughts of Sonic and Flash not getting their (undeserved) power up?
I have mixed feelings about it. I was upset that Flashy got such a power increase in the MA arc after the Hellfire & Gale fight seemed to confirm what I was expecting from the webcomic, partially because I didn't see the point in making him so strong in the MA arc and then giving him training + a power-up in the next arc

On the other hand his webcomic techniques are really cool so I hope he learns them from Void

Same here. For Void I’d say we scale Human Void above whoever is the strongest Dragon level threat in the series. Since he was going to go back into the Gap Between Space-Time to fight God’s pets which are Above Dragon. So Human Void is confident in fighting Above Dragons at least. Cosmic Void just upscales from Human Void probably.

Flash and Sonic on the other hand can probably still get their power up later on when Blast and Void returns.

When that time comes I hope it's Murata who's gonna handle Sonic and Flash's power-ups, since I found their new techniques in the webcomic lame as f*ck and pretty useless against much stronger opponent.

Not just confident, he was already doing it before.

He states that he must immediately return to the front lines against God.

Man, waiting for anime fr.

Small planet Orochi, infinite perception speed Saitama, FTL Atomic Samurai. waiting for those.

Not just Void. All the Heavenly Ninjas are now just good guys and not dead anymore. They all said they want to follow Void because they don’t know what they want to do with their life as ninjas. So now they’re also going after god cubes on their own accord to help Void.

Convenient story-wise that they're not gonna be around a lot, not many threats that can handle that many ninjas.

wait now that I remember, the so-called "rift between space and time" or something like that the translation said, is the place that Blast and Void were guarding... and apparently garou affected THAT SHIT IN HIS MONSTER STATE (this was highlighted by my femboy friend)

yeah he did which means if monster garou can distort space then it makes since gods pets could also tear through space and time

Huh, not what I expected.

So Murata and ONE just threw pacing to the way side with Void. I mean it's cool that Saitama can remove God's power from beings by punching them (qualifies for a limited power nullification ability I might add) but like him literally just becoming a good guy that fast is like...I mean it's a joke. Especially after the last couple times we've been through this arc. But good to have him around I guess?

Anyways I was pretty confident that God's Divine Beasts were immortal based on what Blast said last chapter but it doesn't seem like it. Now there's just the Phoenix left who may be Phoenix Man. Maybe they do come back over a period of time though, one can hope so. Clearly they weren't that strong though if Saitama just one punched the Kirin. When I say not that strong, I mean relative to the god-tiers. Hopefully the Phoenix will be stronger.

It's funny that Tennito are now following Saitama. This definitely feels like a ONE thing.

I love that Sonic seems more casual about Saitama's strength these days. He's like "Yeah that's Saitama for you lol" like he's a veteran atp.

Yeah Void transitioning to good isn't narratively wrong to me (we need to know what the pre-god village was like though) but it was handled in the cheapest way possible to progress the story. I just hope we'll take more time with future arcs and avoid multiple redraws like this

there is also the dragon in addition to the phoenix because the Kirin is a fifth Japanese mythological beast that however is not considered on a par with the other 4, namely the tiger etc.

Hopefully the Phoenix will be stronger.
It is supposed to represent god level so most likely. If the gap between Phoenix and the rest of heavenly beasts (who are already above dragons) is similar to the gap between dragon and god levels, we might get some crazy stuff.

Besides, 4 heavenly beasts are the representatives of 4 cardinal directions and there is a central dragon that eclipses all the others in some interpretations.
