Idk, saying they got taken out doesn't mean much since that caps their scaling for the most part. And Hanami would've definitely lost to Yuji and Todo if it lasted longer and Jogo would die to the same attacks.

That's my point. Their feats are going high diff with Grade 1 characters

Or, it's simply Sukuna preparing to grab Kamutoke as Uraume begins deactivating her technique—which is exactly what the panel you're referring to signifies.

Uraume could have roughly measured the distance before she was trapped in the domain.
In the very next panel, you can see that the ice instantly melted.

I don't really think the EM waves can be blocked based on their description. I do think that's one of Kashimo's biggest advantages as a sorcerer, you don't really get to block any of his attacks properly unless you're doing what hakari does which only really Gojo and Sukuna could do

yeah, unless you're Gojo or Sukuna levels of speed you are losing to the EM waves

Idk if just the fact that they "vaporize" means they can't be blocked
 
It's more the way in which they vaporize which would make them difficult to block. It's very hard to just block light

Maki only got blitzed by Mach 3 naoya tho
She blocked all naoya attack in that form
Reread all the naoya fights and Maki only Gets Blitzed by naoya when he reached Mach 3

No because Uraume wouldn't know when to deactivate her technique (she can't see through dimensions) and also she activated her technique two panels before being trapped in the domain
If she just activated her technique and the ice was there prior to activation then wouldn't that mean said ice is unaffected by the technique activation and deactivation?

Took two panels to melt instead of immediately melting like when she deactivates her technique plus the fact activation and deactivation of her technique didn't affect the ice
Roughly measure what she wasn't looking at?

Note naoya in cursed spirit form is below Hanami in dura according to kamo
So if speed was disregarded good will Yuji and Todo would also defeat him as well
 
I have a fun little question for you all:

Where do you guys think these verse would be in speed on the site if Naoyo’s Mach 3 statement didn’t exist?

We would have been pushing MHS+ to FTL for top tiers
A paradise built on agenda
I knew we were going to get hoed speed wise when I saw naoya come back and even though he got defeated at the end, he just spoilt any future feat by proxy cause people created an imaginary cap for the verse and Heavenly restriction users apparently don't get stronger according to them

Deadass idk why people don’t just accept that maybe Mach 3 is the outlier when we have like 20+ feats that are far above it consistently, ranging from Hypersonic to FTL.
 
Even with the mach 3 statement they're mhs and up, just the wiki thinks thr mach 3 statement means ignore the rest of the things that happen in jjk

Because;
1. said people forget that projection sorcery is not just about speed
2. By pretending Mach 3 is a cap, future feats can be put into more scrutiny
They're many good feats that simply aren't applied because of Mach 3 existence
Hakari reacting to lightning? Doesn't exist because Uraume called the piercing blood of choso using all his strength fast despite the fact that piercing blood has no set speed
I mean at least sukuna and gojo should be MHS+ just because gojo being capable of releasing cursed energy within a microsecond timeframe

No one thinks Mach 3 is limiting anything. Idk why people act like we do

The problem is, no one is actually trying to update the verse right now

Also I can think of two hypersonic feats and obviously the one FTL feat. What's the other stuff?

Issue is that's not actual movement, the timeframe is application of cursed energy which can't really be applied for actual movement/combat speed.

Calced a similar feat, the one where they ran up jacob's ladder. It depends on how you calc it. If you just use the time it takes for the boulders to fall naturally and use that as the max timeframe you'd get like subsonic results. If you assume the boulders are literally frozen from their perspective as they jump across then you get higher results but that would be more of a high end calc
