You're right—Yuta and Yuji aren't close to Sukuna at FP, but neither is Kashimo. Although Yuta, he specifically, was someone Sukuna somewhat actually wanted to fight against (Not only from his own standpoint but from others, like Higuruma) after noticing Yuji acquired RCT. And we know that he was actually proud of the fact he beat Yuta (Granted Yuji was there, but his role in that fight wasn't to directly be the one taking the lead).

I think it was because of yuta's CT and he wanted to see what yuta was capable of with them, rather than they actually being a threat

I don't necessarily agree. If that were to be the sole reason, then Sukuna wouldn't really consider Yuta to be the main combatant in the first place (The cast also reinforces this narrative of Yuta being the main and most reliable fighter, which Kenjaku also supports). He'd have instead be interested in him as he were with Higuruma and would've tested him out while knowing very well he can't do anything to him, but the difference in treatment here is self-evident. Sukuna expected Yuta to be strong.

no, it's an exhibition in japan, they have a bunch of sketches on the walls and next to them are QNA's about it, from what we know about people that visited in japan, gojo could dodge WCS, Kashimo was a bigger threat to sukuna than yuta and tiger funeral was a cool tiger.......

Okay tbf, Jackpot Hakari and Kashimo were relative to each other, jackpot hakari >= yuta according to yuta and promotional material for hakari.

Kashimo decided to try and fight sukuna on a 1v1 and lost as a result, had yuta done the same thing he too would have likely lost as well at that point in time.
Him being excited to fight yuta doesn't mean much because a, yuta was likely the strongest sorcerer around at that time with the most interesting technique being rika and copy, he was more excited for maki out of everyone else as well. Sukuna being excited does not mean we should scale characters like that

1. I'm not saying he thought he would lose, but the idea that he didn't even think it could potentially happen is preposterous given that he said he'll lose if he keeps taking soul dismantles earlier
2. Kinda doubt he didn't when he got Black Flashed and was just about to fall out of Megumi's body

Here Sukuna was not thinking straight. Even upto last moment he was coping hard that Yuji was beating his ass. So I think it's fair that the idea didn't cross his mind.
