BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Official "She had thought she would simply continue to wander within the endless expanse of the garganta"
Fan Translation "I thought I would have to continue traversing the infinite black cavity"
Both of them result are same for me infinite black cavity or expanse infinity both infinite size

Should absolutely be 10x multiplier minimum, he's been a captain for a loong time. And while he is lazy, Yamamoto wholeheartedly believing both him an Jūshirō being transcendent in battle together (which obviously is flowery language) and Transcendence wasn't even a thing in the narrative yet, still a huuuge praise. That still should qualify him as being the highest possible for a Bankai upgrade.
This is not how we award this, and it is against the multiplier standards

Not really. And jushiro should be arguably strongest captain in tybw
Juushiro from the TYBW = Juushiro that struggled against Starrk

Yamamoto is 5x due to him losing his arm, Yhwach himself talks about it too. Plus Yamamoto was prolonging the fight to talk shit to Royd.
There is evidence he did not get weaker by losing the arm

Mind showing that evidence? I'm curious
Message me via DMS later, but its stated that Yamamoto recovered his strength at the end of the Deicide arc, despite losing his arm.

This statement wouldn't be made if he had drastically weakened.

This is actually mistranslated officially by Viz, but the raws clearly show it.

Strange cus it shows in his Weaknesses he lost an arm and his age. Though his page is prob Outdated. And with Yhwach informing about it too.

And wasn't there a new KLub Q&A, about Reiatsu Vents in the wrists along with losing an arm or something like that?

I think there is other stuff saying he remains at his peak. As for the YH part, he is mostly talking about he is no longer a thread cus he is no longer the ruthless killer he once was.

The Q&A says that the vent is now simply coming out of the cut of limb as if it was a wrist, so the cut is the new vent for that arm.

There isn't a Q&A answer to my knowledge, and I've heavily heavily heavily researched everything. I think Arc can attest that I've researched a lot of random-ass scans and double checked a lot of shit. I'm talking like, back in the day I used to literally re-translate every scan I used. I also bought old shonen jump shit just to double check my scaling conclusions (lol). I used to care a lot about Bleach scaling back in the day.

Also, there is 0 proof he got weaker in terms of power. What Yhwach is talking about is that he got weaker as a person. He used to be a ruthless killer with no regard for even the lives of the Gotei 13 members.

But doesn't it talk about how its much more difficult to manipulate Reiatsu because of it.

What happened to Aizen with the Reiatsu vents is he got cooked from inside the shell because his vents were sealed. There is no proof that if one vent is blocked, they don't just get twice the reiatsu flux in the other wrist.

Na, the question was bout how does it work with someone like yama who lost an arm, therefore 1 vent. Kubo answered that the cut where the arm was becomes rhe new vent for that side of the body. So he still has 2 Vents like everyone and he can still control them like anyone else.

Oh I see.

Guessing that this will be removed then?

That literally weakens the argument even further, lol

Given all the evidence I sent, I think all of us should be more inclined to believe that Yamamoto did not get significantly weaker. Also, btw, there is one more thing which paid off in the TYBW about the shit I sent. Yamamoto did supposedly (according to this) slightly weaken in terms of stamina (the more likely definition here):

Its accepted right now that his physical strength went down (from 2k years ago) because we used the old english version which is mistranslated. I will fix it during the summer, but its his stamina, not physical strength. Even then, it says it only slightly weakened, and this one blurb probably got retconned. You could also interpret it as being his physical body being slightly weaker, but his overall strength with respect to reiatsu didn't.

Oh I see.

Bruh, you mentioned it right when I was about to address this, lol.

Definitely a dated weakness lol
Technically up to debate, but I think that at worst it should be seen as a slight decline in his physical body's stamina. Even then, we know for a fact that his bankai now > his bankai 1000 years ago

We getting a Bleach: Hell Arc anime adaptation after Cour 4 announcement in 3 days. Or movie live action…

Source: Kubo posted shinigami substitute badge in twitter with #anime in 3 days announcement.

How did he get banned

On Kubo's Twitter he posted something about the 21st. I dunno what it could be but could it perhaps be a trailer for cour 4? Maybe something for Rebirth of Souls?
