Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

If super forms scaled linearly instead of by emotional empowerment, Forces Death Egg Robot would absolutely be > Time Eater

Infinite above Time Eater via the strongest creation statement. Man I don't know how to feel about the Infinite hype statements
Wait.I thought the time eater, like already existed in, and Eggman just managed to make it into one of his weapons

I'm iffy about them too, but I've never seen a good counter-argument against their legitimacy either. It ultimately depends on where you draw the line when it comes to outliers or "reasonable" AD. Both of which are pretty subjective

Crazy how Ty says he might've been lowballing Sonic yet you gave him higher scaling than what we put for him on here.
Oh shit, you follow Tylearn? 👀
But he only really mentioned for Metal Low Multi and Immeasurable. Not too far off tbh. Especially since he didn't go in-depth into the cosmology (not like he needed to).

Tbh, I told him the statement should only be applied to Base Sonic villains at best. Ig he overlooked that part lol. Regardless, Metal folds.

Tbh, it isn't the first time an Adventure-Era (06 is sorta Adventure Era) threat was being mogged by Base Form characters. Just look at Perfect Chaos or Metal Overlord. All I'm saying is that if this wiki takes the statement of 06's "these robots are the strongest Eggman's ever made" even when compared to Sonic Advance 3 stuff, then it should definitely take the Infinite statements as well.

Ya the only counter argument I could think of is some Sonic frontiers promotional statement that said the Titans are on par with final bosses from earlier titles. I might be misremembering that so take it with a grain of salt. But if that statement is real it contradicts the notion that Infinite is the strongest pre frontiers due to the scaling chain I made.

All prior enemies < Infinite < Death Egg Robot = Titans

That can't be true since base Sonic can damage the Death Egg Robot but not the Titans. This scaling chain is made with the assumption that the Death Egg Robot is the strongest final boss due to the Infinite statements.

Meanwhile if Solaris or Egg Wizard or Time Eater are the strongest final bosses it would look like this.

Base Sonic villains < Infinite < Death Egg Robot < Time Eater, Egg wizard, Solaris = Titans

I just assume the Titans are just so far above previous bosses in that instance that it didn't matter how strong Base Sonic was.

Titans are easily >>>>> any previous boss. Frontiers was stated to be Sonic's biggest adventure, and even Giganto was said to be the biggest threat he had EVER faced.

It's funny how Giganto can stomp Solaris out and leave him on the Magic Pixel of HP at BEST LMAO.

Yeah, both his main and other one for Cobra Kai lol.

I mean, he did briefly showcase the infinite cosmology statement from Tails but seemed to heavily decontextualize it tbh. Even so, that's still higher than where we scale the base cast on here. Hell, we still don't even scale Infinite to Modern Super Sonic level bosses.

Me who thinks how reasonable the statements and scaling are come down to a very nuanced mix of objectivity and subjectivity.

Oh how long you been following him? Ty is actually a really close friend of mine irl.

But like I said, I did tell him the Infinite statement should only apply to Bade Sonic villains but ig he overlooked that. What’s crazy is he didn’t even use half the shit I sent.
I didn’t appreciate the shoutout he gave to my boy Espio though. He didn’t think he was gonna use the scans of him copying the Rivals’ characters’ powers.

Assuming that first one is true, we NEED these statements about the Titans to be linked for ease of access. Tired of hearing the occasional Solaris glaze in the wild

After all the confusion caused due to people misusing the BumbleKast, now every Sonic question will directly be sent to SEGA, if they don't approve, it won't be featured in any way (Honestly I hoped that overtime people would just get honest with the BumbleKast, but people just take stuff out of context, send leading questions, and create confusions in various places, especially Twitter, so although I'm sad this will limit what Ian can answer, I hope things just get better for him).

well, this took alot of time

For the best honestly, people gotta learn that Ian is not gonna give good answers to vs questions if you ask him.
I don't think VS mattered at all (Although the increase in such questions definitely didn't help). But at least on Twitter and Youtube, there started to be a lot of discourse distorting his words and starting improbable expectations about his work, which eventually scaled to terrible heights.

Well that sucks, but it's understandable I suppose.

Not going to lie: I was hoping to ask him about if he could provide information about how a portal to the movie Sonic universe ended up in White Space and if it had something to do with Black Doom or not. It'll probably be answered when December 12th rolls around, but still unfortunate.

This is excellent news, to be hoenst.

So no more Archie-related questions?

does this mean that Bumblekast is.....technically viable WoG for Sonic now?

You know, I’m thinking there’s a pretty real chance this might be Shadow’s only appearance in the movie continuity, I think they’re gonna commit to killing Shadow off here.
