Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

I share the same thoughts, and I have a bunch of things I want to say, but I don't feel like typing it all out anymore.

Though, one thing your message has made me think about is Shadow's VA. To me, one thing separating the current Shadow to his portrayal at his inception is his voice. I'm still not sold on Kirk Thornton. I appreciate the most recent voice direction he's been given, but I still don't feel his voice is what Shadow's should be. Shadow generally acts like and seems to be a biological young adult, and I think his voice should reflect that.

Ian Hanlin's Shadow voice was refreshing to me because it felt like a step in the right direction.
I feel like if he had a better script and lines, he'd do just fine. I like his voice, but I do agree to an extent. He sounds a bit too old for the character he is. Kirk could definitely pull it off. Maybe we can get another voice direction. Having a softer, less harsh tone of voice could be pretty good, in my opinion.

Well, I assume they’d protect him from just general attacks, not sure if they would protect him from some kind of targeting attack that ignores walls or shields.

......Time flow on a whole reality does that, and that didn't do anything against him in the Egg Reverie zone

Kinda? It was talking about the theoritical Cell (Z) vs Metal Sonic. He basically said, "whatever statements made doesn't matter because of Gerald and Tails comment in the Time Eater fight."
That's weird because Metal stomps Cell even with universal only Time Eater scaling.

New tv spot came out

They forgot to remove the super forms lmfao, looks like they're going ti team up to overpower the eclipse canon

Ngl, Cell getting 2-C for being confident in challenging Goku has the same energy as Tier 1 Infinite being stronger than all of Sonic’s previous enemies.
At least Cell trained in hell for years

If Infinite is actually intended to be stronger than literally every previous main enemy, then it's death of the author. There is NO reconciling that

After a talk I've had with a friend about how almost everything in Mega Man is an obscure (by US standards at the time) anime reference, I wonder how many anime references we can find throughout Sonic.

INFINITE, YOU ONLY HAD TO FIGHT 3 SUPER FORMS, BUT NOOOOOOO, lets fight 3 normal guys

Tbh I don't think it even matters, considering most of the people going to see it have played the game or at least seen the ending to it, it's probably not a huge surprise that they're both going to go Super and save the earth
