I’ve never heard Gas as an opponent for Infinite but it lowkey vibes the more I think about it. It would be better as a DBX since I don’t think Infinite or Gas would work for a normal DB.

You know, after several rewatches of Eggman vs Bowser, I want to go against the grind and argue that Infinite does deserve some praise outside of being crushed by a Thowmp.
Dude took down several of Bowser's generals, forced Bowser to exert effort in not getting overwhelmed by the Phantom Ruby's effects, and even though he got crushed by King Boo, he inadvertently showed that King Boo's powers rely on his crown which is why Metal knocked that off as soon as possible.
So we can argue that Infinite was a fraud, but his actions did help Eggman somewhat during the battle.
