The beast kept its muscles tight, making its arms extremely hard to cut off or blow off, but, they were still being damaged by the constant attacks on its arms despite its absurd muscle mass and layers of corruption protecting it. This also made Lance's knives somewhat less effective, but, with the damage being stacked on, the beast could finally be seen slowing down... It wasn't much yet, but, it was beginning to lose strength. David's gravity also seemed to be doing damage, but, like its arms, the beast's head seemed to be incredibly durable, so it was likely the wrestler would have to perform repeated attacks on it like the others were doing to do lasting damage.
As expected the beast's grip on its weapons was not wavered by the repeated attacks on its arms from Jack, but, the several other sword and shotgun attacks to other parts of the beast's body, along with everyone else's attacks, seemed to continue to slow the Poison Dragon down as it began charging up another attack.
"I-I'm fine... Get back in the fight...!" Okita shouted to Grue as Rhongomyniad was able to purify the corruption and somewhat heal the burns on her arms, getting ready to move back into the fight, with Kinzer grunting and beginning to heal himself from any damage.
"You heard what Lance said...! Move...!" Gabriel said, scooping Kiara and Rory up and moving them away from the battlefield.
Rory grunted, "G-Gabriel... Are you alright...?"
"I'm... fine..." Gabriel said, turning around. "Stay safe...!" Gabriel said before moving back into battle.
Rory grunted once more clenching her fists as she felt rage slowly swell inside her. "Damnit..."
"...Rory." Kiara said, placing her hand on her wife's shoulder. "If you need to fight... fight." She said.
"B-But... the... R-Rio, he..." Rory was cut off by Kiara, with the swordswoman trembling just as Kiara was.
"I-... I know your worried... we both are... but..." Kiara breathed out, "I can protect Rio... So... Go help them. Your not injured, so, you can contribute a lot more..." Kiara said.
"B-But I..." Rory heaved out, gripping Kiara's hand extremely tightly, clearly not wanting to leave her side as she looked down at their child.
"Rory... Go. And don't even think about coming back dead..." Kiara said, gripping Rory's shoulder. "Do what you did before in your fight with Masayoshi. Channel your emotions. Your rage..."
Rory breathed out, before standing up. Swiftly she removed her uniform, typing the sleeves around her waist as she usually would, her eyes turning a cold, steely white.
"...Alright." Rory said, beginning to observe the situation as her trembling slowly ceased. "Alright..."
