8-B Tournament Round 1, Match 10: Druid Monkey vs Kirito (Aincrad)

So after doing extensive research into Bloons literally had to get a friend to play the game and show me everything here are a few things I have come up with that work in Kirito's favor.

He is smarter than the monkee (at least in combat), Tornado's only push back their target once per lifetime (as in lifetime of the tornado), Small Tornado's might push Kirito out of the range of the Big Tornado, it takes Druid of the Storm 1 minute of consistent damage to destroy a Fortified DDT which has the same durability as Kirito, This is in the Town of Beginnings meaning Kirito could use a Teleport Crystal, Monkee must concentrate in order attack meaning it can't move and attack at the same time (correct me if I'm wrong),

Now for things that Kirito will have to overcome in order to beat the Druid

Constantly being pushed back, having to dodge the lightning balls (due to their consistent damage) among other attacks, and having his Regeneration disappear if he gets hit.

Now how could he win this?

All Kirito needs to do is land a few solid hits and it's over for the monkey (wow this is really just a rushdown vs a zoner) While the tornados are an issue Kirito does have the smarts to realize that just rushing in needlessly won't work. He does have quite a bit of range with his shockwaves and sword skills which he could utilize once he's at said effective range to attack the monkey (especially in between cooldown of the Tornados), as for other projectiles Kirito has Spinning Shield which would simply block a lot of attacks (except for the lightning balls). He also has Analytical Prediction that would allow him to anticipate attacks and dodge them much easier. Kirito could also last longer with his healing crystals allowing him more time to survive and chip away at health.

For these reasons I'm voting Kirito

(Didn't go into Kirito's BFR cause it's kinda useless here also hoping to god I don't sound like a madman)

Fair, I stillw think the continuous barrage of diferent peojectiles of the monkey should make kirito almost unable to get near enough to end the monkey, and I don't think the monkey would spam thinkless if his oponnent is going directly to him, if kirito get close enough than the monkey would use his tornados

If course the lighting ball is the most dangerous projectyle sinse it can froze kirito and continusly atacks every enemy near It, but the lightining bolts are also dangerous, they not only have lighting speed traveling but have bouncing propriets, meaning that if kirito tries to block them, they would bouce from the bloking to kirito

Going off of Kirito’s profile, his analytical prediction could counter Monkey’s projectiles due to him being able to fight despite being attacked on multiple angles. The lightning ball could also be deflected back onto Monkey.

Are you going to wait a bit before voting or no?

Two other things:
(especially in between cooldown of the Tornados)
The cooldown of tornadoes is much smaller than it looks, the video you used for example tornadoes take time to launch again due to DDT being continually removed from the Druid's range, if you use a BAD da to see how much faster it shoots tornadoes in sequence
lightning ball could also be deflected back onto Monkey.
I'm pretty sure he couldn't, he doesn't even have non physical interaction to touch a ball made of electricity, besides the ball would hit him before he got close to it, along with apparently the Lightining ball multiplies if he hits something directly , which would be even more problems for Kirito

Shockwaves | Analytical Prediction (Context for this is that he didn't know the bosses attack patterns at all)
He isn't using the shock wave to atack, the shockwave is a consequence of his atack

I couldn't understand it very well, it didn't even seem like he was using prediction analytics, it just felt like he was struggling... but I'll take what you said as the truth

is there any video of him using this power to dodge projectiles?

He isn't using the shock wave to attack, the shockwave is a consequence of his attack
Yes, that is how shockwaves work they are a result of very powerful impacts. There's nothing stopping Kirito from striking the ground and getting the same effect.
that doesn't sound like analytic prediction to me and it got hit in the end... besides the druid has much better AOE attacks from what I'm seeing (yes, her attacks explode, but the monkey's jump from target to target and he spams his attacks a lot more)
The Analytical Prediction isn't meant to help Kirito dodge all attacks it's meant to help him dodge the slower ones.

He has ever done It in the show?

So just the lightining ball that atacks every thing near it not only what enter in contact with It.... Understood

Just realized Kirito may be able to avoid being frozen via his Meditation and Awakening which nullify Status Effects since freeze qualifies as a status effect in Bloons correct?

yes, but if he is frozen how would he do It? is like a pokemon with a habillyt that remove status effects but can't use sinse he is sleeping/Frozen

In fact, I don't even think the lightning is the biggest problem now, at this point it's the tornados which Kirito can still counter via his ranged options.

ok, i'll admit that the range isn't as bad as i said, but i still don't think it's enough to help him that much
Check the profile for actual ranges
You showed that he uses It as a form of extra damage whem fighting melee, not him using It as a long ranged atack
While yes it does appear that way that is not the only use of the technique.

Not to mention he also has Vorpal Strike as another ranged option. Example 1, Example 2 and it's range can be boosted with Incarnation (which I haven't even gone into yet)

I checked, the Druid out range him
While thorns are indeed a small threat, generally they do not make up most of the Druids Damage and can easily be avoided or blocked by Spinning Shield. Not to mention his Analytical Prediction helps out to.
