Billions of passwords were leaked

Jesus, I'll need to change almost everything. Thanks so very much for the heads-up!

A general tip for you guys, it is a good idea of, instead of attempting to make a complex password, to make a long sentence. It is much harder for a hacker with a brute force method to break something like todayiwenttotheparkandsawacutedog than a14,!$@

There are other methods of hacking which that may not help, and I think that making a password both complex and long is the ideal, but usually, a very long password really helps against brute force.

my main account got affected in that):
but wait the sites u guys sent here say that it was in 2019, and I didnt know about this until now, cool cool xD

I actually found a video mentioned some things about it. That being said, we should always remain cautious about our passwords, but it seems likely that "8.4 passwords being leaked by this one hacker" is likely a hyperbole. It's mostly a bunch of random words as well as passwords that have been leaked for ages. Also, while I'm not sure if the site is considered something Fandom approves, "haveIbeenpwned.com" was something a college classmate recommended me to use in case any personal passwords may have been leaked.

Thanks, at least this makes the situation less worse, but still is apropriate to change the password just to avoid unecessary problems, yeah

You can pay for 1password, and use it to store your various passwords. It seems like the safest available alternative.

Just make sure to save the master password for the service somewhere very safe.
